Overview of Your Role:
This role will be responsible for managing ongoing marketing initiatives, from inception to completion, across multiple channels including but not limited to digital channels, website, online banking, social media, video messaging, events, advertising, member and prospect materials, and newsletters. Create concepts, write copy for and use technology for the delivery of marketing programs. Build brand awareness and attract site traffic through email and social media programs, converting that traffic into new leads for the business, and nurturing those leads to close into new members. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also have MCIF (Marketing Customer Information Files) responsibility to generate member mailing lists for print and electronic delivery and to maintain tracking and results for digital, print and outbound calling marketing programs. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and requires a high level of creativity and energy, attention to detail and project management skills. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and accurately and apply brand standards across all marketing channels. Provide project development support to the Vice President of Marketing. Provide light administrative support as needed to the Vice President of Marketing. Support team members and departments as needed.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Manage, create and release company content digitally through social media, website, and email marketing channels.
- Create and implement social media and email marketing programs, in-house and through third-party vendor(s), following department processes to obtain content and compliance approvals prior to launch.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and internal clients and establish/foster good.
- Maintain and apply a clear understanding of the target audience to create actionable messaging and lead generation vs. the attainment of corporate goals.
- Interpret and consistently apply and maintain brand standards across all deliverables.
- Maintain and track expenses related to budget & prepare periodic status report(s) of projects vs. budget.
- Maintain an editorial calendar for all social media, website content, and email channels.
- Monitor and distribute updates about trends and best practices in content marketing, social media, SEO, SEM, and related fields.
- Use MCIF to identify target audience and create contact lists.
- Develop and implement communications to keep VP of Marketing and internal departments informed.
- Remain current on changes within the legal, regulatory, economic, competitive and technology environments which may affect the marketing function. Ensure marketing materials are in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
- BSA/AML compliance (and compliance with the Office of Foreign Assets Control) is the responsibility of all employees throughout the organization. This is achieved through: annual training, reporting compliance issues to the attention of the Compliance Officer and keeping aware of regulatory requirements.
Other Duties:
- Update Intranet with marketing program activities.
- Support marketing department on other projects on an as-needed basis.
- Understand and convey the Credit Union Difference and company Brand.
- Survey Administration.
- Implement strong project management skills including digital marketing channels, data-house processes, vendor management, and the ability to execute and deliver accurate and timely marketing materials in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to understand and follow moderately complex written and oral instructions and produce a high volume of work in a timely manner that is accurate, complete and of high quality.
- Must be organized, able to prioritize workflow and meet possible conflicting and changing deadlines.
- Willing and able to learn/apply new skills and software applications; adaptable to change; self-motivated.
- Gather information and create reports to assist the VP of Marketing r with monthly board reports, tracking, budget preparation and the Marketing Plan.
- Maintain reader files of all marketing materials and marketing communication procedures.
Credentials, Experience and Skills:
- Job requires a High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years Social Media experience with similar responsibilities is required. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.

- Ability to push our Digital Content to target audience through electronic/digital channels.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and other teams.
- Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. MCIF experience a plus.
- Curious and willing to learn new technology.
- Excellent writing skills preferred.
